Thanks for the information ....
Personally, I have found HP Support Assistant (HPSA) to be more trouble than it is worth.
On a brand new PC, it is probably most useful as HP is constantly putting out driver and BIOS updates for new machines, but on an older PC, especially one that was Upgraded to Win10, it is all but useless -- as HP is not putting out updates for the older PCs.
If you want to troubleshoot HPSA, here is some information: HP PCs - Troubleshooting HP Support Assistant (Windows 10, 😎 | HP® Customer Support

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Since we clearly can NOT see your screen from here, how are we supposed to know??
Are these Windows Updates? Are these HP-supplied updates?
What do the symbols look like?
Without details, we can't possibly help you.
We can proceed once you provide the information.
Thanks
