Graphics Driver problems

Hi - I have a HP Pavillion DV9500 Entertainment PC, it had a Vista Home Premium OS and I have upgrdaded it to Win7 Professional.

After installing some games, when I tried to run them, I get messages "Failed to Render" and another older Game saying no Direct X 9 can be found.  I have updated Win7 with service pack 1, but still no games will run.

All other programs MS Office etc all work, but not any games.

Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried updating your video card drivers for use with Win 7?

Hi

I checked the drivers page and only found Vista driver for this model.  Probably due to this model only being released as a Vista machine.  I will look again and see if a newer model driver will work.

Solved the problem. I visited Nvidea and allowed them to scan my laptop, they found the driver for win7, installed and it is back to normal. Thanks
