Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
I recently red an article on the security problems of fingerprint readers, where it was pointed out that allowing any of two (or more) fingerprints to unlock a laptop made it easier for a criminal to match one of them. As a result, I tried to delete one of the two fingerprints I had enrolled on my laptop. However the system would not allow me to do this, saying that I had to enroll a minimum of two fingerprints. Why does HP force one to reduce the security of the laptop by requiring this? Is there some way of getting around it?
