HP OMEN 17-w151nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I just purchased a HP OMEN 17.3" gaming laptop with 4k display screen and backlit keyboard and was under the impression that the lighting for the keyboard can be adjusted to suit my preferences, but I don't even see the HP OMEN CONTROL software installed.

I would like to know if the keyboard lighting is able to be changed or am I stuck with the default bright red color, and if it is not able to be changed, will that be a future option that can be done with a software upgrade or by downloading HP OMEN CONTROL?

Any suggestions you may have would be much appreciated...

Thanks!

Did the application work for you, or are the newer Omen series locked to Red?

If locked to Red, can the intensity be changed and/or turned off?
