HP Recommended
8740W
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

System is a HP 8740W.  Has NVIDIA Quadro FX3800M graphics.  NVIDIA Driver is 341.95

System is in docking station.  DVI connection is to a HP LP2465 monitor.  This works.  Trying to connect a second display to displayport.  Either from the laptop directly or docking station.  Using a StarTech Display port to DVI Dual Link Active adapter.

Second display is a planar SA2311W.  - connected via dual link DVI to the startech adapter.

When this is connected the display is shown in the NVIDIA control panel, setup multiple displays - but I am unable to select this display as an option.  I try in windows and it won't allow me to select the display.

I am able to connect the SA2311W via VGA, but this connection won't support my ultimate goal of having stereo display on the Planar - requires 1920x1080 120 Hz via Dual Link DVI connection.

The bios is F.60

Any suggestions?
