EliteBook 820 G3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have two EliteBook 820 G3's that shipped with 4GB of RAM. We purchsed additional RAM (Axiom T7B77AA-AX 8GB DDR4-2133 SODIMM) totalling 16GB for both laptops. Problem is, when we try to boot up, we get a beep code (2 long, 2 hort) and the device never comes up. We are able to use 1 8GB stick and 1 4GB stick and the device sees 12 GB with no issue. We have swapped all combination of RAM sticks too with the same results.

(2) 8GB sticks = beep code

(1) 8GB & (1) 4GB sticks = good

(1) 8GB = good

(1) 4GB = good

I have updated the BIOS to the latest version as well. Per the spec sheet on HP's site, these modules should be compatible.
