Product: HP Elitebook 840 G2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but feel free to let me know if this needs to be re-directed.
I've had an Elitebook 840 G2 for about 2 months with Windows 10 installed. I frequently used the fingerprint reader to log-in. However, as of yesterday, the fingerprint reader no longer seems to be working. I'm unable to log-in with the reader and when I try to set up a new fingerprint, the reader doesn't read it.
I tried looking for the fingerprint reader driver but that's not listed for my model anywhere.
Any guidance for what next steps are would be great.
Thanks!
