Hello, all my son currently has a problem with his notebook. From what I've heard from my son's perspective is before problem occurred. Son was playing video games and accidently rapid spamming on a typical videogame buttons, and the notebook shuts off, second start up works fine while he was in a game and on a voice chat server, he screams screen flickers and the computer shutsdown. After this is when the notebook starts malfunctuoning. Here is what my son describes on his multiple boots up shortly after. Son turns on computer CD drive keeps clicking continously while fan in laptop spins continuously super fast while the screen is stuck on a black screen. Shuts off with power button. Second attempt boot up screen boots up but stuck on loading circle (freezes). Shuts off once again third attempt manages to get past loading and into error HP recovery and freezes there. We sent to out uncle and he says it was overheating, so he cleans the notebook and tells us that the 2 removable 8gb ram and hardrive was working fine since he placed into another notebook. However he said it was the motherboard that was causing the CPU to overheat, and after multiple start ups he concluded that there was 1/10 chance it would boot up. What could be the actual problem? Also I bought the notebook for my son on August 9, 2016. And it says there was a standard warranty for one year could the warranty possibly fix my sons laptop I purchased the laptop on amazon with prime. Where would I find support in regards to warranty if Theresa chance they might fix it?
