Product: HP Elitebook 2540p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi
I have HP Elitebook 2540p (i7 4GB RAM recently upgraded to 8GB). It runs fine but is quite slow to open programs (e.g. 30s to load Chrome, Windowas Explorer), but once they're open it runs fine.
Compared to another i7 8GB machine I have (Toshiba) it is significantly slower
The current BIOS is dated at March 2010, so I wonder if updating to the current (F.60?) version would help?
Clearly I don't want to kill it, by doing the wrong thing, especially as I can live with the slightly slow program opening!
Hope you can help
