Hi,

 

I am struggling to find the product key for the Windows Installation on my latop

THe HDD on it crashed and i swapped in a HDD from another laptop. 

 

The windows product key on the current Laptop is not legible anymore and i need it to download a copy of Windows 7 

 

I have the serial number etc , 

 

I tried installing windows 10 but that wouldn't activate either .

 

 

how do i go about restoring the windows 7 home premium  i had on the laptop before the crash
