I want to increase ram of my hp15 r014tx to 16gb , ram-ballistix by crucial , is it possible to do so please advice

Yes you have an i5 processor so this from the Manual applies to you:

 

Supports dual-channel memory Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM in the following configurations: ● 16384-MB total system memory (8192×2)

See p. 76. Memory upgrade is very hard to do. It requires you to remove the motherboard. 

 

This video would be helpful. It shows a similar model with 1 RAM slot and yours has 2, but the steps will be the same.

You need DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM memory.

Crucial Ballistix is performance or gaming memory which you do not really need and will not make the laptop any faster. The memory should be like the amazon.com offering I have posted. Post back with questions if any of this is unclear.
