Product: hp DVDRW SU208FB

Hello

Is there anyone here who can tell me where to download the driver for my DVDRW drive? 

It seems that the page for my computer doesn't list it in the driver and software download page.

All I want is the driver. 

OR can you tell me where I can its location in the windows folder?

 

Any help wpuld be appreciated.

HP Recommended

Microsoft providing generic driver for optical drive. No need to update or install driver. You can find drivers here C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository

There is no actual DVDRW driver. Only driver would be is you were using like NERO they have their own drivers to write/delete/burn to blank DVD media. MS provides generic drivers to get your drive recognize and working. If you trying to play a DVD if you don't have the software to play it there is nothing we can do here. VLC is the only free player that will play DVD and a recommended.

BTW, Millions of folks have gone back from Win10 to their prior O/S -- something you don't hear about from MS. by WAWood but ALL to TRUE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Those that want HD Gaming should plan to invest in a Gaming Laptop to handle those requirements. Eamples GTA V or Crysis 3.
