Hi,
I am trying to speed up an old service laptop that I have and wanted to upgrade the IDE HD to a SATA HD, I believe their is enough room. However, as I was insptecting the existing IDE HD I noticed there already is an adapter in place converting IDE to some other interface. It doesn't look like SATA more like a PCI adapter almost. 2" long, 22 gold contacts top and bottom. I'm curious if I can find a SATA to this interface adapter so as to save space. Thanks in advance.
