Hi, im using the model specified above and i need to replace my dvd drive with a hdd caddy but i cant figure out which size my dvd drive is and which model to replace it with.

 

This is my laptop model

It comes in two different sizes, the 12.7mm version and a smaller 9.5mm one..

It is the 9.5 mm form factor. Make sure you understand the limitations of a storage drive in an ODD adapter. Can't boot from it and transfer speed is limited. The only thing you can really do with it is use it for storage. I would not put an SSD in one, for example as the extra price for the speed would be wasted. A 5400 rpm mechanical hard drive is the best option. Big and inexpensive.
