I've had several calls with support on this issue and I'm getting conflicting answers (hardware issue to x360 does not have these features) and would love to hear from users alike.
I use my laptop plugged in most of the times with external docking station, monitor, keyboard and mouse. And I have my laptop lid closed so I can pretty much hide the laptop under my desk. Windows 10 setting is fairly simple where I disabled "sleep" when lid closed. Issue is that the sleep button does not work when the lid is closed. I cannot put the computer to sleep or awake by pressing the button. It does nothing. Also, when the laptop is sleeping (flashing white light on the sleep button) I cannot awake the laptop via external mouse or keyboard. Nothing. The only way to awake the laptop is to open the lid, which I have to remove the laptop from my desk slot to do and put it back in once it's awake. I changed windows setting to allow awaking laptop via mouse/keyboard, disabled docking hub power saving, etc etc.
The sleep button by the way works when the laptop is in tablet mode. But still no external mouse/keyboard awake.
Soooo....
1. Is this issue isolated or do ALL Spectre x360 have the same limitation?
2. If you have had this issue and got it fixed, please share your findings/experience.
Ideally, if the power button is disabled by design, then fine, but I would still like to awake the laptop by moving the mouse or keyboard. This is the first laptop I ever had that CANNOT do this...
