Product: HP Elite USB-C Docking Station
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have an HP Elite X2 (V2W85UA) and ordered the USB-C to VGA adapter (N9K76AA) listed on the Accessories page (
http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/getpdf.aspx/c04886130.pdf?ver=1) This adapter works when connected directly to the X2 tablet but when I connect it to the USB-C dock (T3V74AA), even without connecting a monitor, I immediately get a pop up telling me to "Try improving the USB connecttion. DisplayPort connection might not work. Try using a different cable".
How can I connect a VGA monitor to this dock? Will a VGA to DisplayPort or VGA to HDMI cable work?
