hp probook 450 g3

It was a great evening, watching a movie on my hp probook 450 G3 laptop. it warned of low battery-7% low, so i did plug it in and minutes later it just blacked. first ,i removed the battery, put it back and pluged it inot a power source but the light that indicates that it is charging didnt show till after some minutes but later after some minutes, it went off. the following day i did try putting it to direct power without the battery in and still it could not power on. Later on i did get a friends battery of the same everything, put it in mine and it powered on, did try his charger in my PC and it could charge...what could be the problem? For till now, i am still using the friends charger and battery while my charger and battery are working in his Pc!!! Help. Thanks.
