I would like to know what type and how much ram i can use to upgrade my machine as well as what new processors can work with it

There are two upgrade candidates for your notebook. Either one would provide a significant performance boost.

 

You can install compatible memory modules for up to 16GB of installed memory. That would be two compatible 8GB memory modules. I suggest you check at Crucial.com.

 

For the CPU upgrade, please note the category that your notebook falls into.

Thanks for the help but i have one more question. What type of ddr4 ram can i use. Is it only ddr4 2133 sdram

Yes.

 

Only DDR4-2133 SDRAM memory is compatible.

 

No other memory module types will fit in the SODIMM slots.
