Hi, i`ve (Hp 550 celeron 2.0 Ghz -1mb -533 FSB )

am wanting to upgrade the cpu

on intel gl960 chipset

socket 479 mPGA

according to CPU-Z

i`m wanting to put on it Core Duo T2050 1.6 GHz processor or dual core if it can

can anyone help with which ones will work if any thing else ?? thanks

Actually i was not sure when you posted "socket 479 mPGA"

 

hence i asked you about the exact model number...

 

from that i found that it usase Socket PBGA479 and PPGA478, check this link:

So i provided you the link for Core 2 Duo processors... as you were interested for that... 😉
