Upon start up, I get the following error.
AccelerometerST.exe - Application Error - The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.
Now my system shows that it needs to Update but it won't complete the process. It doesn't matter if I select shut down or restart.
This started a couple weeks ago. What do I need to do to fix it?

Hi,
Try the following.
Open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select Uninstall - don't worry if you get an error message at this stage, just continue.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.
