The following configuration change was requested for this computer's trusted platform module (TPM):
Clear TPM.

Hi! @Carlo_A2786, Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

I understand you need to know whether to accept or reject TPM.

 

1. Have you encrypted the hard drive??

2. Do you have any keys stored on the computer or stored on a USB stick ?

3. If you reject TPM the hard drive would get unencrypted.

And clearing the TPM can result in the loss of data. To avoid data loss, make sure you have a backup or recovery method for any data protected or encrypted by the TPM

4. If you accept TPM the hard drive would get encrypted.

 

Note: Before Decrypting make sure have the spare key it would ask you to enter the spare key.
