Hi, Turning on my computer screen remains blank. I have tried all possible means to repair the failure, even taking off and putting back the memory chips. Led light near caps lock blinks once meaning that there is a failure in CPU. Are there any ways to try to repair the failure by my self? Before with the same failure it helped to perform a hard reset.

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Sorry, but the blank screen and blinking Caps Lock light indicate a hardware failure -- and that is not something you are likely to be able to fix.
I think with the DV6s, the only diagnostics that were provided were hard disk and memory, and this does not present as a hard disk failure, otherwise, you would get a black screen with some text error message on it.
Since it is well out of warranty, HP will charge you to examine it and fix it -- if that is possible -- so your best bet, at this point, would be to seek out some local laptop repair shop that will run diagnostics on it for you.
Good Luck
