Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have the 68SCF Ver F.60 (3/12/15) BIOS installed.  If I run HP Support Assistant (8.4.14.41) it says there are no updates.  If I go to the HP Software and Downloads webpage, there is an F.63 Rev A (7/1/16) BIOS (sp76540.exe) available.

Is this the latest BIOS for my system?  If so, why isn't it showing in the Support Assistant?  And how do I determine if I am missing other updates?

Thanks.

HPSA is the only "one-click" way to do it. Otherwise you have to do what you did and go through and manually compare your installed drivers to the latest on the driver page for your model and OS.

Hi,

I'll not perform any BIOS updates unless it corrects faulty features, improve add new features or functionalities and more particularly I'll not update BIOS to through HP support assistant software. HPSA is a very glitchy piece of coding.

It may even brick your machine when not done with adequate precautions

Install this latest HP support assistant version:
