I had to use Recovery Manager and reset laptop to factory settings which means Vista. Can someone please help me in finding a good link to upgrade to Windows 7 please?

Hi,

Do you mean for free ? I don't think you can get this option. Please try the following tool first to check your computer:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=20

then try the following steps:

Note: I think you pay Microsoft (directly or indirectly) to get Windows 7

Regards.
