Hello,

 

Trying to unisntall HP Support Assistant but it fails with error below.

Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.

 

It seems your installer file for HPSA may be corrupted. In order to uninstall the app, you need to first repair its installation file.

 

1. Download and save the installation file of HPSA - latest version ->  http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp79001-79500/sp79243.exe

2. Run the exe file

3. If it offers you to remove the existing version - do so.

If it doesn't just complete the fresh installation. Eventually, uninstall the program from Control Panel > Programs and features.
