I´ve bought a new SSD disk for my Laptop and want to install Windows 10. Tried to create a USB Bootable Flash Drive with the Windows Media Creation Tool and tested in another PC, and it worked perfectly fine.
Than, I´ve tried the same method in my Laptop ( hp 15-b104sp ) and when I access the F9 menu, it doesn´t appear the option to select the USB Drive.
The hard drive diagnostics turns out "Passed", as well as the memory check.
I´ve tested all possible options/combinations of the BIOS (legacy support enabled, legacy support disabled, safe mode disable, etc.), but still not working. When it starts with the USB Flash Drive, it gets stuck (with the screen flashing from 2 to 2 seconds) on "Press Key to pause startup" and nothing happens.
I´ve tried then to create a USB Bootable drive with Windows XP (Yes, I am that desperate) and it turns out that it starts the normal windows XP installation setup (doesn´t get stuck anymore), but then when the screen to choose the installation drive appears, it does not have the option to select the SSD / Disk.
Any idea on how to fix this?
Thank you!
