Product: 15-ay061nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Trying to do a system restore on my HP laptop, after we somehow got settings adjusted in such a way that we had no administrator and could not get it back due to being locked out of certain settings changes.
I did a data backup and began a recovery, but HP Recovery Manager ultimately failed, "Restoration Incomplete. The restoration did not complete. Please select one of the following buttons:. Save Log. Details. Retry."
Retry achieves same result.
Details only says the following posse with each failed attempt: There might be unexpected reboot during [Windows setup]. The process will cause CTO panic because the image might not be normal now.
I have no external BIOS or operating system from which to boot the system. Any ideas?

Follow these steps to create installation media (USB flash drive or DVD) you can use to install a new copy of Windows 10, perform a clean installation, or reinstall Windows 10. Before you download the tool make sure you have: An internet connection (internet service provider fees may apply) ...
