Hi,

I'm using the HP Cloud Recovery Download Tool to obtain Windows 7 for a new notebook that comes with Windows 10 pre-installed. When I get to the 'USB Preparation Page' to select a USB drive it shows "No USB devices connected" even though there is a USB drive connected and recognised by Windows. I've tried this with two USB drives, one 160GB and one 2TB, with neither being recognised. The drives have some data on them but I assume that they do not need to be formatted beforehand as it looks like that happens as part of this recovery process.

I've tried restarting etc but have had no joy so far and would be grateful for any tips that may help.
