If it does how could I find the one for my laptop on the HP website, regret not getting one replaced when it was under warranty now I have an universal one and it feels like the cable might be to issue for performance.

Hi,
Does the universal charger have a rating of 90 W or above? Do you use the PC without battery?
If you are using the battery there shouldn't be any performance issues if the Charger is charging the battery while in use. If the universal adapter has the same or higher wattage than original charger (90W) there should be no problem.
Are you experiencing loss of performance. Can you be more specific? Update all drivers and bios to latest version. Remove any unwanted programs and see and remove any unnecessary applications that startups together with windows.(Task manager > startup) Run an antimalware program such as Malwarebytes or HItmanpro to see if there is any Malware on PC and remove the malware and the programs.
Let me know if you need any further help,
David

This is the Universal charger I currently got and my laptop is plugged in not charging, it only charges when the laptop is off.
I play this game called League of Legends and it used to run fine but I'm not sure when it started dropping FPS the longer the game goes, I feel like my laptop specs shouldn't that bad to run the game on the lowest graphics.

Hi,
Have you tried updating the graphics card to latest version (you have dual graphics on laptop):
For Nvidia card:
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/115892/en-us
For the Intel graphics:
Try right-clicking when launching game application and make sure it is using the nvidia dedicated graphics card.
Hope it helps,
David
