Pavilion Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On my Laptop I keep seeing tis "Driver Detective". It also says that 1 of my drivers is out and I need an update. When I click on it , it takes mt to an Web page and they want $29.95 for a subscription.

Does anyone know if HP recommends this software? I don't want to down load something and then mess up my computer.

Thanks

Hello @cbbob

Please, uninstall Driver Detective software - you do not need it. You will only get your wallet with less money, you do not need it and it may cause failure.

HI.

Please do not make the mistake of downloading pages containing virus drivers, you will have blue screenshots BSOD.
Enter the control panel, system, the device manager, on the device that is missing right click, properties, details, copy and attach the hardware IDs.

Regards.

You do not know what device manager are where the drivers are, from your computer.
