Hi
Why my laptop has a lot of useless apps from HP and no optimization for dual battery? I mean that my laptop doesn't notify me when the main (tablet) battery is low. That wouldn't be bad, but if the main battery is under 4% the laptop shuts down without ANY warning! And why it doesn't move energy from keyboard battery to main battery?

Hi @NsNidPL,
Good Day! Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! I read your post about the battery optimization and getting rid of a lot of bloatware on the computer. I will be delighted to assist you here.
Fabulous diagnosis and superb analysis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you on that score. It is always a privilege to work with technical specialists like you.
You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you here. We greatly appreciate you for doing business with HP.
For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:
- Please let me know the complete model# of the computer to assist you better.
- Have you calibrated the battery?
- To answer your battery question to supply charge from the keyboard battery when the main battery is low may not be an option on any HP computer worldwide.
- This is may not be an implementable feature as the keyboard is only an accessory to the notebook and works on battery without having to install external batteries.
- The keyboard battery and the main notebook battery are built differently and hence that is not a feasible option. (The notebook battery is a high-powered battery for extended periods of standby time)
- The keyboard battery is designed only to drive the keyboard.
Tips for battery optimization and improving battery performance:

Please calibrate the battery also from this link: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03325217
To display battery is low notification please perform these steps:
- Also go to power options>change plan settings under balanced option> advanced power settings> Low battery level> on battery> change it to 20%
- Do the same for plugged in also.
- Critical Battery level > change it to 10%
- Plugged in > also to 10%
- Low battery notification> change it to on
- Plugged in also change it to on.
- Low battery action > Change it to Do nothing
- Plugged in > change it to do nothing
- Reserve battery level> change it to 10%
- Plugged in> change it to 10%
- Then restart the computer and check if it does the trick for you.
Then update the bios and chipset drivers from this link http://hp.com/drivers and follow the on-screen instructions.

1. Spectre 13 x2 f1n06ea
2. Yes.
3. I heard somewhere orginal keyboard dockbase should charge tablet from its battery.
4. Then why built-in OS counts keyboard and tablet battery TOGETHER?
5. ?
6. Nope. I saw when the laptop is powered off for long time it can charge the tablet.
I saw the problem is in OS because BIOS knows perfectly the tablet battery is low because LED near the place where charger is plugged in blinks. I think making OS only count tablet battery would help (if that's possible?) because it counts batteries' percentage together and notifes about low battery when batteries' percentage COUNTED TOGETHER gives under 10% battery.
