HP Pavilion 15-p157sa
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, any help obtaining drivers for my HP laptop much appreciated - thanks in advance.

OS is W7 Pro 64 bit.

I have an HP Pavilion 15-p157sa laptop and need Windows 7 drivers for the following devices which show in Device Manager as having an issue after I downgraded from Windows 8:

PCI Simple Communications Controller:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C3A&SUBSYS_227E103C&REV_04
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C3A&SUBSYS_227E103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C3A&CC_078000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C3A&CC_0780
============================================
Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C31&SUBSYS_227E103C&REV_04
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C31&SUBSYS_227E103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C31&CC_0C0330
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C31&CC_0C03
============================================
Unknown Device:
ACPI\INT33A0
*INT33A0
============================================

I'd also like to update my Display driver:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A2E&SUBSYS_227E103C&REV_09
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A2E&SUBSYS_227E103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A2E&CC_030000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A2E&CC_0300

You're very welcome.

I gave you the driver you need for the ACPI\INT33A0.

That device needs the Intel Smart Connect Technology driver.

If for some reason the one I posted from HP didn't work, then try the one directly from Intel.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with your external hard drive.

Hi:

These drivers should work...

This package provides the Intel Smart Connect Technology driver forsupported notebook models running a supported operating system. TheIntel Smart Connect Technology driver enables the system to resumefrom sleep mode and update supported web applications such asemail. The system enters sleep after the update is completed.

Hi Paul,

The one direct from Intel did the trick.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for all your help with this last year.  Some time later, I discovered that my NAS setup will not work with W7 64bit.

I now have to start again by installing W7 32bit, as I can't justify the cost of a new NAS solution.

Are you able to help please, with drivers for all of the hardware earlier in this thread, but for W7 32bit?

Many Thanks

Hi:

The drivers I posted should also work for 32 bit, except the graphics driver, as they should contain the 32 bit drivers too.

Try the graphics driver directly from Intel since there isn't a 32 bit graphics driver for your model.  First driver on the left side of the page.
