Windows 8 64-bit won't activate on this laptop. The DVD was from a Pro Book I remember correctly. The message says "This product key doesn't work."

This will never work. You have to buy upgrade to Windows 8 Pro from Microsoft.

Your machine has Windows 8 pre-installed (Home I believe).
