Product: Pavilion dv6 6c48us
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My mothers pc has been hit with ransom ware pretending to be micosoft Security Essentials (888-841-2933).  I have removed the harddrive and installed a new one.  I need to install a clean bios before installing a fresh version of the OS.  HP doesn't have the bios or any software or drivers for me to download and install a fresh verion of the bios to clean up any corruption on it.

 

Where do I find the bios to install before installing the OS?
