Hard drive crashed, just want to know if HP replaces my hard drive if they have a service to attempt recovering files from the crashed drive and placing them onto the new hard drive.
Thanks

> want to know if HP replaces my hard drive
It depends on whether your HP warranty is still valid.
> if they have a service to attempt recovering files from the crashed drive and placing them onto the new hard drive
Probably not. They may have a list of "data recovery" companies that specialize in disassembling disk-drives, in a "clean room" environment, replacing parts, and reassembling the disk-drive, to make it last just long-enough to copy all the files to a brand-new disk-drive. Expensive, of course.
