hi wonder if anyone can help me with this problem i am having. The laptop HDD failed then i went to purchase another HDD and maid a mirror of the orignal drives recovery . But when ever i boot up into the recover i get to the reintall part of the windows 8 but then it asks for i have installe the inel rapid start drivers but it does not go any further than that:
The exact window i am recieving is :Load driver
A media driver your needs is missing.the could be a dvd usb or hard drive driver.if you have cd dvd or usb flash with driver on it, please insert it now.
Note If the installation media for windows is in the dvd or usb drive you can safely remove it for this step.
Then whan i have is a usb with the intel rapaid share drive on i select it and get the following driver:
Inetl(R) Series chipset family SATA AHCI controller
Then i select next and the process goes in a endless loop of the above error over and over
I did not get a recover dvd or a prop to make one when i puchased the laptop aswell as there is no cd dvd rom on the said notebook
could you assist me with this issue kind regard

Hi @Nightwatch,
Thank you for your inquiry.
I understand you needed to replace the hard drive. You made a mirror image of the Recovery Manager, but are unable to complete the recovery from it. HP does not provide recovery disks anymore. When you first setup the notebook, you would have received a prompt to create your recovery media. Only one set is allowed to be created. If you omitted/skipped that step, they can be made later, but obviously before the hard drive fails. I suggest you contact HP Support to obtain a recovery kit. Please contact HP support at Contact HP Support. Here is a link to HP PCs - Performing an HP system recovery (Windows 😎 as guide.
Please let me know the results.
