Does anyone know how to access the BIOS settings on a HP Stream 13 notebook? I tried all sorts of button combinations on startup, but nothing seems to be working. The manual says to press esc + F10 on bootup, but that doesn't work. I also tried F10 by itself, but that didn't work either.

I just did this on this laptop. The way I was able to do is to spam ESC on bootup. You will get a list of options to select. One of the options will be the BIOS.

A way is:

Go to PC settings

select Update and Recovery

select Recovery

select Restart Now

Find Boot from EFI USB Device

Go to Boot from EFI USB Device

when it prompts you that {The Selected Boot Device Failed. ... ...},

press <Enter> then <F10>

You should be at the bios

Thanks much.  This is the only way I have been able to get there.  I have been wanting to upgrade from Win 8.1 to 10 and remove the backup partition so I could have more space, but I needed to have a a stored OS on a disk or USB stick to do that.  I just needed to switch order of the boot process first.

Hey! Thanks so much, this method was the only one that worked to get me into BIOS!
