How to DELETE/RESET my Forgotten Password

Hi,

Am trying to unlock my password which was accidentally set by my young kid. 

Can you help me to UNLOCK it without any usage of Floopy disk or USB involved?

If you don’t want to unlock the Windows 7 login password using any floppy disk recovery disk or usb, then there is only 1 method that can be tried to unlock the Windows login. Please follow the instructions as mentioned below:

- If there is already another User account available with admin privileges you can reset Windows 7 password for that particular locked user account.
- Login Windows 7 as administrator. Click on Start, type lusrmgr.msc in the Search Box or Run Box (press both Win+R keys to open Run Box), click OK button.
- Local Users and Groups dialog appears, open Users folder. Right-click an user account and select "Set Password".
- When a dialog pops up, type a new password twice, type a password hint or not, click OK.

Note: This method will lead to lose access to all its encrypted files, stored passwords, and personal security certificates.

- Reset Windows 7 Password with CMD (Command or NetUser)

This method won't lead to lose anything, it is safely.
- Logon Windows 7 as administrator.
- Click Start, type cmd in the Run box (press both Win+R keys to open Run Box) )or Search box and press Enter key, open CMD.EXE.
- When the CMD window appears, type in net user, it will show you all the user accounts of your Windows 7.
- Type net user "user name" "new password" (replace "user name" and "new password" with yours), press Enter.
- It will show you the command completed successfully, this means that you have successfully reset the user's password. - Restart your computer and login with new password.
