Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have bought an HP laptop which comes with preinstalled Windows 7 and the possibility to upgrade to Windows 10 pro. I am interested in downloading a clean Windows 10 Image and perform complete reinstall using USB drive. As far as I know such laptops store licence keys in BIOS, so the question is: how can I get the key, or will the key automaticaly used by Windows during installation process?

Thanks in advance

I have already installed the clean Windows 10 installation and it did ask any activation key and activated through internet automatically.

Hello e_kurbanov,

Have you already installed W10 on the machine you want to do a clean install on? If not, then you're already outside the window Microsoft allowed to W10.
