Hallo everybody,
I need help on an issue.
I had to replace the hard disk on my Pavillion g6-1130sl and now I want to restore my system from 4 backup DVDs created with system recovery before my hard drive was broken.
I downloaded from the HP Servers all the drivers and software available for my PC but I couldn't get to install HP Recovery Manager on the new hard drive since it gave me this error: "Softpaq does not apply to the system, no HP Recovery Manager installed".
Is there anybody who can help me to sort this issue out?
Thanks in advance for your assistance

Hey there!
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!
I understand that you are unable to restore your PC using the restore discs.
It looks like you have not followed the recovery media creation process or data backup process.
So you are unable to restore the image using the discs.
Please use this link to know how to creating recovery media: http://hp.care/2byIEKi
However, you can contact HP and get a set of system recovery discs.
