Hi,
Did you get 24chars error ? Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char failure id indicates the HDD is failing and need to be replaced. Is it still under warranry ? If Yes, please call HP for a replacement.
In the US:
http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1
or HP technical support: 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region please click the link below to get the support number for your region.
http://welcome.hp.com/country/w1/en/contact_us.html
If not, what is the error ?
Regards.

Hi,
Hard drive has failed or is failing.
You need to replace hard drive with a new one of similar form factor.
2.5 inch SATA HDD
Use HP recovery USB to factory reset OS after replacement.
Your laptop came with Windows 8 64 bit:

If you've not salvaged data from failed drive, you could try to either boot from LiveCD or take out HDD, connect to another PC using SATA to USB adapter and then use explorer to copy the files you need.
