HP 15-f018dx Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I ordered and have the recovery USB for

HP 15-f018dx Notebook PC.

I used it in the past to go from windows 10 to 8.1 because I found win 10 buggy. I recently upgraded again to win 10 to troubleshoot something and to see if it is improved and I'm still finding it pretty buggy. I'm considering going back to 8.1 again. I had to do a reset which eliminated the go back option. I still have the recovery usb and may use it but I have misplaced the simple instructions that came with it. Is there a simple guide or instuction page on how to use the usb?

Not how to order it, but how to use it. Thanks.

Hi,

Insert the Recovery USB and Shutdown the notebook.

Tap away at the esc key as soon as you press the power button to enter the Start-up Menu and then select the Boot Options Menu ( f9 ).

Use the arrow keys to highlight the USB drive option and hit enter.
