I have a virus that shuts down my computer every 5-10 minutes. I have everything saved that I need. All I need now is to restore to factory settings. The two youtube videos I have seen on how to do it don't work for me, because when I go through the steps it does not give me the option to restore to factory, only to restore to a certain point in the past.

Can anyone help??

You need to tap on the F11 key when you first turn on the computer (at the HP logo) to load into the HP Recovery Manager to perform the HP System Recovery.  You can find the instructions for this in detail here:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-G60-500-Notebook-PC-series/3999411/model/4041433/document/c01...

This did not work, when it gets to to system restore my only option is to restore it to a certain point in the past. How do i actually get to the option where I can return it to factory settings. Every option I try only allows me to restore to a previous point. Help!
