Hi !

So i hope i'm not in the wrong place to ask this but I've been looking up for a new notebook and I've stopped my choice on the HP Spectre x360 13

My problem is that i found one with the intel i7-6500u (2015) and the new one (2016, thinner and smaller screen border) but with the new i5-7200u processor for quite the same price...

So my question is : Is the new generation i5 better than the last year i7 ? Same ? or i7 always more performant ?

I noticed the i7 has 4mo memory cache and the i5 only 3mo...

Sorry for my bad english

thank you for your answers !

Nelson

The 6th gen to 7th gen upgrade is very minor:

So consider this simply as an i7 vs. an i5, in which case the i7 is better (faster).
