I was running an emulator to see if my computer can halndle the output, and now I am here. My screen suddenly went black through some gameplay and will not turn back on. My laptop was charging and I had a USB Type C dongle/ hub connected to it. After my screen went black, I tried pressing the power button to power it back on, but it didn't work. I unplugged all other peripherals and tried the power button again, nothing. I don't mind performing a hard reset, I just need help turning my laptop back on for school. The LEDs don't even turn on when I try to reconnect the charger and the same goes for the LED on the power button. Please help. Thanks

Hey there! @Jayming,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues, with help from the community!
I understand that your laptop will not turn on with the adapter plugged in.
Don't worry I will try to help you out.
As you mentioned that you were running the emulator on your PC after which you are unable to turn on your PC.
Did you try connecting the adapter directly to the wall outlet and check if the unit powers on?
Can you try checking with a different adapter?
Please try performing a hard reset on your PC and check if it helps.
To perform a hard reset on a computer with a sealed or non-removable battery, use the following steps:
Turn off the computer.
Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.
Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
For most notebooks, press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to reset. If your notebook model is listed in the table, use the instructions specific to your PC.
NOTE:
The designated button combination varies by model and production date. If your computer is not listed below, see the User Guide for your specific model for the proper button combination.
Refer this article for more information.
If the issue still persists after troubleshooting it is a hardware issue, please contact HP support for service options.
