Keyboard has stopped working and computer has slowed downj

Last night my laptop slowed down and the keypad and keyboard weren't working very well, I ran some antivirus software which found nothing and then restarted my laptop. Once I reset it I couldnt get past the login screen as none of the keys but I,space and tab worked. It had begun to load much slower than normal. I tried pressing escape as I loaded up the laptop and that brought up a screen with options but I couldn't select any of them. I also pressed f6 which again brought up options but when I tried to restore my laptop to a previous point it came up with an error, it also came up with an error when I tried to refresh my laptop and backup files.

See if you can get into diagnostic mode by tapping F2 as you power up. Find the hard drive test and run it and post results.
