Im just wondering if anyone can help me.
Im trying to restore my HP envy touchsmart back to factory settings as i am selling it but when it was restoring my laptop went flat.
I then plugged it in and turned it on and it continuosly keeps coming up "preparing Automatic Repair", i then get to a blue screen which comes up "your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. we're just collecting some error info, then we will restart for you". this then continues to go over and over again. ive tried pressing f10 and f11 but it does nothing. Ive also tried plugging in the charger, turning it on and off again etc but nothing seems to work.
i also cannot take the battery out as it is internal.
thanks

Hello maddy1121
What is the full model number or product number of the machine?
What was the operating system that was installed?
Is this a 15 inch laptop? If so, the battery should be removable and the product number will be inside the compartment.
Unless its an Envy 15 X360. Then the product number will be on the bottom of the case.

Tap away f2 key as soon as you power on laptop. Do extensive hard drive tests. Let it finish.
Do you have Recovery USB/DVD created after first setup of this laptop?
What is your exact model name, product number?
