Every year Microsoft improves its methods of work. But unfortunately their reliability is still bad. That’s why, in event that Open&Repair didn’t solve an issue take a look at Recovery Toolbox for Word application has free test version with feature to get back to 5 damaged files https://word.recoverytoolbox.com/
