Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I read that your mouse pointer is flashing and has a waiting circle. Due to this you're unable to play games. Even the simple pass does not work. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.
I would like to know the following information to assist you better:
- Please let me know the exact product model no. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l
- What version of Windows operating system are you using?
- Did you press the Ctrl+Alt+del keys to open the Windows task manager and end any unresponsive tasks from there?
- Have you tried to restart the computer and checked if it helps?

hi kazi, i reset my computer,its fine now,i heard that recent windows 10 update causes this problem,and that simple pass is needed to turn off a setting,i have a m6 notebook operating windows ten,i had a spooler in the task bar which i think came from a printer ,this i believe is conflicitingwith new windows 10 update,in task bar i ended the task it went but was still operating in a sub service, i hope this was a help,i did at one point in the beginning get in to simple pass but couldnt access settings.

I'm glad to know that the computer is working fine now. If the HP Simple Pass is not working then you may try the following versions of the HP Simple Pass software. I will need the exact model no. of your m6 HP laptop to check for any drivers/updates for the fingerprint reader. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l
Secondly, if the printer drivers are correctly installed, then the spooler should work fine. To fix the spooler, I suggest you to download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor program. This program will identify and fix any printer driver related issues.
