Hello Paul, I hope you will help me or any other HP Experts please! I have this Model of
HP 2000-2c22DX
Notebook PC. I love this laptop. I suddenly lost wifi connection. I press Fn and F12 but orenge button is still there and wifi doesnt turn on. I can plug in my internet directly then to use internet but wifi is long gone. idk what info I should give, i did research i think these infos will be helpful for you to help me.
I have this:

first try - right click on the network icon in the bottom pane at right and then click troubleshoot 🙂

The wireless network adapter has completely disappeared from the device manager.
If it had been working fine before and just disappeared, most likely the wireless network adapter has failed and needs to be replaced. You can try removing and reseating the wireless card and see if that gets it to show up again.
The hardware ID you posted is for the Realtek ethernet (wired) adapter.
The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a Ralink RT3290LE 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 combination adapter.

You can also see if installing the HP connection manager software, restarting the PC, and using that software to turn on the wireless network adapter resolves the problem.
